The flow2 has improvements that makes assembly easier with the roof and legs. No frustration at all and the directions are fantastic with everything labeled wonderfully. The new entrance reducer is genius! I love this give it has so much to offer the bee keeper.
This was a gift for my parents, but a bucket list item for dad! They enjoyed building and stated it was extremely intuitive and easy to construct! They’ll be receiving their bees in a couple of weeks and dad has already attended a bee keeping event in his local area! They’re so excited! ❤️
The flow hive was easy to assemble and looks amazing once completed - only critique I can say is it's not perfectly square (i.e. when stacking the parts on-top of one another, they dont align into a giant seamless box) however it's not out enough to be a problem, just bugs the perfectionist in me haha
I can’t rave enough about the flow hive. It is easy to use, and way less invasive than traditional honey harvesting. The bees stay calm through the whole process and I end up less sticky by the end of it.
I won’t get any bees for another few weeks, but the construction was easy and the design is great. Stained the boxes and painted the roof and I’m all set for my girls to arrive! Loved the beekeeping course Flow offers, and also started taking classes at the University of California extension to get as much knowledge as possible to care for them!
