Our in-house manufacturing team has very high QC standards, which means that when packing our Flow Hive 2, some pieces get put aside that are not perfect but still very usable.

The Flow Hive 2 includes two observation windows in the specially modified Flow Super, a unique base with ventilation control and inbuilt multipurpose tray plus our distinctive gabled roof.

The timberware may be scratch & dent, however, this hive contains premium generation 2 Flow Frames, featuring our revolutionary honey harvesting technology. You'll also find A-grade hardware and features including an entrance reducer and adjustable hive stand.

All Araucaria made Flow Hives and Supers need to be sealed with at least 2 coats of exterior-grade, good quality house paint. As with all outdoor paint, it will require a refresh every 12-24 months depending on local conditions.

6 Frame hive with stand: Dispatches in 1-2 working daysAll timber included will be in useable condition, however as the name suggests, you may find scratches, dents, and minor imperfections such as small timber knots in the woodware. You may need to tinker a little or make minor adjustments with a chisel to assemble your hive but once it’s together the bees won’t know the difference!
The Flow Hive 2+ base is specially designed for pest management, ventilation control and functionality. Including spirit levels for gaining the optimal hive set-up, a multifunctional tray for hive observations and applying pest treatments, and ventilation controls to suit every climate.
Yes! All of the repurposed timber panels in the Scratch and Dent hive should be in useable condition but may require a little tinkering in the assembly process. In the unlikely event that you receive an item that cannot be utilised, reach out to our friendly support team.
